What is a Subluxation?

What is a vertebral subluxation?

Subluxation is a Latin word which is derived from Sub meaning “less than” and
luxation meaning “fully apart.” A subluxation is a joint separated but not fully apart.

Vertebral subluxation is related to spinal joints that separate and cause malfunction in the nervous system. This limits the body's ability to self-heal and self-regulate.

Chiropractors remove the interference to the nervous system with chiropractic adjustments so the body will function and perform at a higher level.

Said another way...

SUBLUXATION.” Sub = Less/Decreased Lux = Light

(Light is ENERGY)

A vertebral subluxation is the loss of CONNECTION and loss of the normal flow of your "Life Energy." This causes your body to lose the ability to intelligently and purposefully ORGANIZE your cells and tissues to work together harmoniously…

Vertebral subluxations can have a number of different causes or contributing factors and we believe that all health problems stem from three causes…

The first is trauma… Falling off of a bike, car accidents & sport injuries. Also, repetitive strain (like sitting at a computer or desk for many hours a day) can cause trauma. Physical trauma damages nerves that control the body and can cause pain.

Second…Everyone has stress in life. Pro-longed stress leads to problems with the adrenal gland and many other hormones (causing problems with sleep, immune, digestive, PMS, loss of libido & weight gain).

The third factor is chemical in nature. Our air, food and water are polluted (by the use of man-made chemicals).

Man has made 82,000 chemicals that can enter your body regularly… read the labels. We have precise strategies to detoxify the body at the cellular level where it counts. In todays world, we find subluxation caused by chemicals to be greater than it has ever been since we began practicing chiropractic over a decade ago. You would be hard pressed to not know anyone who has been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, Autism, chronic fatigue, cancer, heart disease, obesity, diabetes or Alzheimers. A few of these maladies did not exist a few hundred years ago while others areoccurring at unprescedented rates.
